Mechatronics: Introduction to Industrial Electricity This certificate test covers the principles and applications of basic industrial electricity and electronics, especially as it relates to packaging machinery and systems. Topics include basic DC and single phase AC electrical circuits, electrical components, electrical measurement, circuit analysis, wiring, basic electrical safety, and power distribution. There is special emphasis on applications and troubleshooting. A basic knowledge of industrial electricity is needed to understand the complex operation of all types of packaging equipment.

This certificate test is aimed at entry level technicians who may be involved in the assembly, test, startup, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair or upgrade of basic packaging machinery modules.

Once you have successfully passed the Mechatronics: Introduction to Industrial Electricity, you will receive your certificate of completion in the mail from PMMI.

Who should take this test?
This test is appropriate for individuals who have experience working with electrical systems on packaging equipment, and students who have completed the course work to learn the competencies covered on the test.

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete your test within 6 months of completing your purchase. After 6 months, you will no longer have access to your test. You will have only one attempt per purchase to pass the test.
