With this course, you will learn how to encourage parents to take an active role in their children’s education by creating clear guidelines for collaboration. Begin by assessing your parental-involvement needs, then explore ways to develop more effective relationships. You will also examine how to work with parents of diverse cultures and parents of children with special needs.

Enrollment Information

  • Credit: 3 semester hours of graduate credit
  • Maximum: 3 courses per term
  • Registration: August 1—November 18, 2011
  • Completion: coursework due February 29, 2012
  • Course Withdrawal date: 45 calendar days after you register
