What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We also support PayPal.
 

Can I use a debit card?

We can accept debit card orders through the Web site if it has a MasterCard or Visa logo.
 

When will my card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged on the first day of your subscription.
 

I don't want to enter my credit card information on-line. Is there any other way to make my purchase?

Unfortunately, at this time we can only accept orders via the Web. We take many precautions to ensure the security of your credit card information on-line. All personal information-your name, billing address, security questions, screen names and passwords-is stored on secure servers and accessed through a secure connection. How can I contact customer service regarding my purchase?

If your question is not answered in our FAQ section, you can reach customer service by sending an e-mail to vantageonlinestore@vantage.com or by clicking on the contact us link at the bottom of each screen.
 

Will I be charged sales tax?

If you live in Pennsylvania you will be charged appropriate state sales tax.
 

I've placed an order. What next? How do I know my order been shipped?

All of our orders are web-based or downloadable, and no physical goods are shipped to you. Once you've placed an order and your payment is processed, you'll get an e-mail with detailed instructions on how to access your product and begin using it immediately.
 

How do I use a coupon or discount code?

Once you've added products to your shopping cart, you'll see a section at the bottom of the cart page that says "Redeem a Discount Coupon". In the coupon box, enter your coupon code and press the SUBMIT button. This will apply your discount to all eligible products
 

Can I buy a subscription as a gift?

Yes, you can transfer the primary subscriber to another parent, adult or student upon account setup.
 

I've added my selections to basket but when I go to checkout they are not there.

This is most likely because you have disabled cookies and/or JavaScript in your browser, This commonly happens if you have something like Norton Internet security package installed and have the security level set too high. Cookies and JavaScript MUST be turned on as they are used to remember what you have added to basket.
 

Why do you need my e-mail address?

MY Access!® Home Edition

 

What is the difference between the 3 Student Edition, and the 6 Student Edition?

Both MY Access!® Home Editions provide the same great features and functionality to instruct and enhance your writing skills. The only difference is in the number and types of accounts available.

MY Access!® Home 3 Student Edition and 6 Student Edition both include a parent/caregiver account. The 3 Student Edition offers three student accounts while the 6 Student Edition offers six student accounts.
 

When my subscription expires, do I have to renew MY Access!® Home and my add-on packs?

No. While MY Access!® Home is subscription based, any add-ons (Prompt packs or Prep Packs) are yours to keep, so as long as you keep your subscription active, you'll have access to the add-on materials.
 

Where can I find information to help me get started using MY Access!® Home?

Once you've activated your account and logged into MY Access!® Home, you'll see a link for Resources in the top Navigation bar. This will provide links to Parent and Student User Guides, as well as helpful tips on how to get the most out of your MY Access!® Home account.

Can I use MY Access!® Home with a dial-up connection?

We do not recommend using it with a dial up connection. Because of the large number of interactive flash activities, the experience with a low speed connection would be difficult.

What exactly is CorrectEnglish™?

CorrectEnglish™ is writing enhancement software that helps you improve your writing overall as you go about your daily writing tasks providing comprehensive feedback on whatever you are working on. It checks your grammar, style, development, and word choices to provide you with comprehensive writing help and feedback. It can be used either as a plug-in to Microsoft® Word or as an independent word processor.
 

How do I know which version to choose?

Think about the kinds of writing you do most and your purposes for writing. If you do a lot of research and formal write-ups, in a scholarly or institutional environment, the Academic line may be for you. If you primarily write e-mails and business letters, one of the Professional products may cover the exact forms of writing you do every day-for instance, writing cold contact sales letters or responding to customer's technical issues. If you write for personal enjoyment, or to improve your writing skills, the Personal Edition may be all you need to get relevant feedback on your writing.

What if I want more than one version?

No problem. Actually, you have a few choices.
 
The most comprehensive solutions are the PLUS packages:
  • CorrectEnglish™ Academic Plus includes Humanities, Sciences and Social Sciences and offers you the editing tools and style resources you need to compose exceptionally written research papers, proposals, abstracts, essays, and more.
  • CorrectEnglish™ Business Plus includes Customer Service, Management, Sales & Marketing, and Technical Support and is designed to help polish your e-mails, business correspondence, and reports so that you always create a professional document that clearly communicates each message to your audience.
Alternatively, you can build a custom CorrectEnglish product through our Add-On Field Packages. After purchasing a base model of CorrectEnglish, you can add the instruction and features that accompany any of the other products by purchasing the Add-On Field Package for your area of interest.
 

What is an Add-On Field Package?

Add-On Field Packages let you expand your subscription to get help and instruction in other fields or forms of writing to build a product that truly fits your writing needs. Each Add-On Field Packages adds on to any existing CorrectEnglish™ module you have already allowing you to expand the task-specific feedback you get when using the program.
 

When my subscription expires, do I have to renew CorrectEnglish™ and my Add-On Field Packages?

If you have purchased Add-On packages, they will expire when your base product expires. However, you need only to renew your main product to continue accessing all the packages that you have purchased. This will renew your license for all of the products and packages you have registered to it, regardless of their original purchase dates.
 
 

Where can I find information to help me get started using CorrectEnglish™?

Within the CorrectEnglish™ word processor, you'll see a Help link in the upper right-had corner that will guide you through making the most out of the program.
 

What are the system requirements for CorrectEnglish™?

Currently CorrectEnglish™ is only compatible with Windows. However, a Mac-friendly web edition is under development and will be included in our CorrectEnglish™ 2.0 release

What is Measured Success™?

Measured Success™ is on-line assessment, scoring, reporting and learning system that allows you to test your knowledge of a given subject, receive immediate scoring, a detailed score report, and get suggested remediation resources.
 

What is the difference between Measured Success™: College Readiness, ELL, Work Skills and CompuPlacer?

All Measured Success™ products provide the same great functionality and opportunities to improve in a given topic. The primary difference is what you hope to gain from these packages.
  • If you are a student preparing for college, you should consider Measured Success™: College Readiness products as they are geared to prepare you for college level work in the areas of math, reading and writing.
  • If English is not your native language and you are preparing for college, Measured Success™: College Readiness ELL (English Language Learner) Series is geared especially for you. This package contains assessments, scoring, and feedback in vocabulary, listening, grammar and writing, designed specifically for ELL students.
  • If you are just joining or returning to the work force, or are interested in improving your performance at work, Measured Success™: Work Skills is perfect for you as it addresses the fundamental work skills that a significant number of employers say their employees lack.
  • Finally, if you are interested in assessing and improving your computer proficiencies, Measured Success™: CompuPlacer is the right product for you. This series covers seven main computer skills areas. You can focus on one specific aspect or purchase the entire seven module series.

  • Measured Success™: College Readiness includes three modules - math, reading and writing- and is designed to give you an overall assessment of your preparedness for college.
  • Measured Success™: Work Skills Fundamentals includes three modules - math, reading and writing - and is geared towards raising proficiency levels in each of these areas based on work force expectations
  • Measured Success™: CompuPlacer Full Series includes seven modules, all of which can be attempted twice. These modules are word processing, windows, general knowledge, spreadsheets, databases, e-mail and Internet, and presentations and together are geared towards basic proficiency in everyday computer use.
You may purchase one or all packages, depending on your specific needs. Additionally, many individual modules are available for purchase.
 

Where can I find information to help me get started using Measured Success™?

Within Measured Success™, upon logging in, you will see a "Directions" link next to your name. This link will provide basic information on starting out with Measured Success™. In general, the program is very easy to use. Once logged in, start a test by clicking on the test name. At any time you may stop and finish later. When finished, simply click on the test name to view your results and to obtain helpful remediation tips and resources.
 

Will my subscription expire?

Yes. You have anywhere from 4 months to one year from the date of activation to complete the Measured Success™ assessments purchased depending on the assessment. During the subscription period, you may take tests, view results, and continue to access our iSEEK™ targeted discovery tool to obtain remediation and learning resources.
